The Fiber process

How we’re bringing Fiber to Orange County

arrow_drop_down
  • It’s a joint effort.

    We work alongside city leaders and property managers to explore bringing Google Fiber to apartments and condos in their area.

  • Carefully planned

    We use data shared with us by city leaders and property managers to create a map of apartments and condos we can connect with Fiber.

  • We do some heavy lifting.

    Currently in progress

    With our plan in place, we start the hard work of connecting apartments and condo buildings to the Fiber network.

  • We bring fiber to your home.

    We complete the process by installing Fiber in your apartment or condo.

How to get Fiber

Creating a brand-new fiber network from scratch takes time, so we build in phases. To get started, check your address to see if sign-ups are open in your area or building.

* Plus taxes and fees.
Upload/download speed claims are based on maximum wired speeds. Actual Internet speeds may vary based on hardware and software limitations, latency, packet loss and other factors. Learn more.
