Get your home ready for Fiber
Bringing you Fiber means building a fiber-optic connection all the way to your home. In some areas we can complete this step while we’re constructing in your neighborhood.
To get started, check your address to see if crews are in your area and can get your home ready. If crews are in your neighborhood, all you need to do is pick your Fiber plan and we'll take care of the rest.
You won’t have service yet, but your home will be Fiber ready. That means you could be among the first in your neighborhood to get Fiber when we start connecting homes in your area.
If our crews are not currently in your area, you can still pick your plan. Crews will bring fiber to your home when they return.
Check your address to see if you can get your home ready.
Here’s what to expect
While we’re building in the neighborhood, we can attach our fiber cables to a small gray box, called a Network Interface Unit (NIU), on the outside of your home. This will bring your home one step closer to being connected.
By signing up you’re allowing us to build the network all the way to the outside of your home. We can’t do that without your permission.
We’re inviting homes in a few neighborhoods while our crews are in the area doing construction on the network. To see if your home can participate, check your address.
If construction crews are in your neighborhood, they’ll bring fiber directly to your home at the same time they’re constructing the network in your area. If crews are not in the neighborhood, they’ll lay the fiber to your home at a later date when they return. Either way, you’ll receive a door hanger notifying you when they’re about to start. Crews will connect the fiber to a small grey box, called a Network Interface Unit or NIU, on an outside wall of your home. Normally this happens later in our construction process, which means your home will be one step closer to Fiber. But please note you will not yet have service. You’ll still need to wait until the network is complete, and this takes time. But when the network is ready, we’ll contact you to schedule your installation appointment.
It’s too soon to share an exact date. We’re hard at work building a fiber network for your city, and this takes time. We hope to bring service to your area as soon as possible, but there’s still lots more work to do. However, by choosing to get your home ready, you’ll be one step closer to getting Fiber.
We’d be sorry to let you go, but you can cancel at any time. Your $10 deposit will be refunded if you cancel before your service begins.
